AMC Competition Levels (Age/Grade Alignment)
AMC 8: Open to students in grade 8 and below.

Registration: October 2026 – January 2027.
Exam Date: January 2027 (40 minutes, 25 multiple-choice questions, maximum score of 25).
AMC 10/12 (2026 Season, A/B Versions Available)
Registration: Opens in early September 2026.
Exam Date: November 2026 (Version A and Version B are administered one week apart).
Scoring: 75 minutes, 25 multiple-choice questions, maximum score of 150 (+6 points for a correct answer, +1.5 points for an unanswered question, 0 points for an incorrect answer).
AMC 8/10/12 Exam Content & Syllabus
AMC 8 Content: Aligns with the U.S. 7th–8th grade mathematics curriculum, covering but not limited to arithmetic operations, basic algebra and equations, elementary geometry, and introductory number theory and combinatorics.
